Lots of lawyers take SSDI cases. 'Do it youself first' and if denied then use a lawyer...Around 50% get approved first time around..I got approved for SSDI in 6 months a few years ago and was only 50%...

I'm kind of the opinion that if you have a "clean" claim, no problems with SSDI. I got SSDI at first try and if you look at the poll the majority received benefits first try.
